Fastest sea star

1 m/min (3.3 ft/min) – Sunflower star (Pycnopodia helianthoides) of the northeast Pacific from Alaska to Southern California. The sunflower star uses over 15,000 tube feet to reach such a high speed for an animal thought to be extremely slow.
