Decorated naval officer and commando with the Decima Flottiglia MAS during WWII; pioneer of underwater warfare; pioneer of the Italian diving industry; trained fire fighters to work underwater; designer of diving equipment for Cressi Sub; founded Technisub in 1962; founding member and first vice-president of CMAS.
