First docking between habitat and sub

1969 – A Perry-built submarine conducted a dry transfer of aquanauts to the Hydrolab underwater habitat, i.e. the aquanauts moved from the submarine to the interior of the habitat without dive gear and without getting wet. Hydrolab was designed and built by John H. Perry.
