
First submersible jamboree

Catalina Island (California), 1969 — 7 submersibles: Cousteau Sea Fleas, Star II, Deep Quest, Nekton, Beaver and Dowb. During the dive hosted by the Rockwell marine facility, the combined fleet discovered a shipwreck and was surrounded by a mass of squid.
