Professor of Ocean Engineering (Florida Atlantic U.); geologist; oceanographer; ocean engineer, author of Diving Locations (1971); expedition leader; pioneer conservationist of the coral reefs of Florida; advised the Broward and Palm Beach counties artificial reefs programs; served as a medic on the European Front during WWII; began diving in 1951.
