Marine naturalist; writer; photographer; underwater cinematographer for several documentary film productions, including IMAX; Associate Producer of The Blue Realm; author of Sea Stars of the Pacific Northwest; co-author of Super Suckers: The Giant Pacific Octopus and Other Cephalopods of the Pacific Coast with Jim Cosgrove in 2009; former Editor of Diver Magazine (Canada); founder of Subsea Enterprises; former ecology technician at the Pacific Environment Institute; began diving in 1969.
