Lewis Gordon Pugh (UK) swam 350 m (1,150 ft) wearing only a Speedo, bathing cap, and goggles in Antarctica’s Bay of Whales (78.5 degrees south latitude) on March 2, 2015. Water temperature was -1°C (30°F) and air temperature was -37°C (-35°F).
