Screenwriter; cinematographer; producer; author; twenty-year crewmember and cameraman for the Cousteau Society; has written more than a dozen IMAX films, two feature documentaries and more than 50 non-fiction TV films, including Cousteau’s Rediscovery of the World (I & II); Arctic Tale; Shackleton’s Antarctic Adventure, OceanMen, and Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure; author of five natural-history books, and six children’s books.

Jeffrey Gallant is the Editor-in-Chief and Records Keeper of the Diving Almanac. He is also a contributing editor of DIVER Magazine, and the scientific director of the Greenland Shark and Elasmobranch Education and Research Group (GEERG). Jeffrey started diving in 1982.
