Author; writer; underwater photographer; former president of See & Sea Travel; led the first diving trips to many of today’s most famous remote diving sites; pioneer of expeditionary liveaboard dive cruises; author of The Underwater Wilderness, The Undersea Predators, Mastering Underwater Photography, Diver’s Guide to the Cayman Islands, Coral Kingdoms, Diver’s Guide to Australia, and Great Reefs of the World.

Jeffrey Gallant is the Editor-in-Chief and Records Keeper of the Diving Almanac. He is also a contributing editor of DIVER Magazine, and the scientific director of the Greenland Shark and Elasmobranch Education and Research Group (GEERG). Jeffrey started diving in 1982.
