Owner of Utila Resort Lodge; built the Utila Chamber & Trauma Center to treat divers, including local lobster fishermen for little or no cost to the patients; conducted eye care clinics for the local population by inviting doctors from the USA to stay on Utila for free in exchange for their services; created the Bay Islands College of Diving; tagged whale sharks off Utila with the Shark Research Institute (SRI).
