First dive across the English Channel [Solo | Untethered]

2012 – Achim Schloeffel (Germany). On June 29, Schloeffel used a DPV to cover the distance of 55 km between Dover (UK) and Calais (France) in strong currents and with shipping overhead. The dive required a decompression stop of 160 minutes.
