
First shark observation cage [White shark]

1965 – Rodney Fox (Australia) | Fox’s inspiration to build a shark cage came from watching lions at the Adelaide Zoo. His first design could fit two people. On a trip which included Ron and Valerie Taylor, Fox’s cage was used to film white shark underwater for the very first time.
