Diving instructor; author of several diving instruction manuals; architect and urban planner; taught at Club Med from 1961 to 1965; managed dive clubs in France, Yugoslavia, Malta and Morocco from 1966 to 1985; President of the Syndicat national des moniteurs de plongée (national union of diving instructors) from 1980 to 1984; founded and managed Centre de plongée MUST (MUST diving centre) in Moorea (French Polynesia) from 1985 to 2003; scuba diving expert witness in Papeete from 1996 to 2006; lieutenant parachutist in the French Army (1957-60), veteran of the Algerian War.
