Underwater photographer; freelance dive journalist; Editor of Dykking, the Norwegian scuba diving magazine, from 2006 to 2010, and from 2014 onwards; founder of SCUBAPixel.com; instigator of The Nudibranch Safari and Periphylla Safari held annually at Gulen Dive Resort in Norway; nudibranch species Fjordia chriskaugei named after him in 2017; former board member of the Norwegian Diving Federation (2006); began diving in 1996.
