Jean-Louis Courteau (Painter)

Viewed 5387 times | 7 comments comment
Jean-Louis Courteau has been a painter for 35 years and the focus of his art is Light: the light that almost blinds you at noon when it sparkles on mountain lakes; the light that dances in the northern skies at night; the light that softly caresses a woman’s shoulders.

As an avid diver and lover of the sea, it is no surprise that his passion for light extends to its most secret and magical retreat: the underwater world.

There is no better way for Jean-Louis to promote its conservation by conveying its fragile beauty.

Jean-Louis Courteau’s work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Canada and the United States, as well as in Europe. He will be part of a new exhibit called “The Art of the Dive-Portraits of The Deep” which will tour the United States in 2012.

Jean-Louis can be contacted through his website where you will also find more of his work, over and under the waves.
