COMMENTS POLICY

Your opinion matters so we welcome your comments.

What is and isn’t acceptable?

  1. Please keep your submissions relevant to the topic.
  2. Be civil, especially when commenting on Who's Who profiles. If you do not like someone, please do not comment.
  3. When you are writing about records, remember that not all records can be verified so the information we post is sometimes based on trust. If you can demonstrate that a record is incorrect, we will gladly make necessary changes.

Always avoid:

  1. Racist, sexist and offensive language.
  2. Personal attacks and defamatory statements.
  3. Breaking copyright rules (that includes copying and pasting excerpts from other sites without permission and attribution).
  4. Violating someone’s privacy.
  5. Threats or suggesting committing a criminal act.
  6. Insensitive comments regarding the death or injury of individuals due to diving accidents or other.
  7. Posting your message in all CAPS (this makes it difficult to read and in online speak is considered yelling).
  8. Posting press releases and commercial promotions.
  9. Including personal information in comments, such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

How do I comment?

Comments are solicited at the bottom of most articles.
You must log in or create an account before commenting.

What if I see a comment I don’t like?

If you think a comment violates our guidelines, please respond. If you feel someone has broken the guidelines, click on the "Report Abuse" link found at the bottom of every message and indicate the problem. We’ll investigate.

We look forward to receiving your comments.
