633 divers — The event organized by Dixie Divers took place off the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier on June 15, 2019. Participating divers had to stay underwater for at least 15 minutes to count for the record. Among other discarded items, the divers recovered 725 kg (1,600 lbs) of lead fishing weights.
