107 — The group of women led by Divetech Grand Cayman, was linked in a human chain off Lighthouse Point to celebrate Women’s Dive Day on July 20, 2019. A guide line anchored 4.5 m (15 ft) off the bottom allowed the participants to complete the record dive while holding hands under neutral buoyancy. Officials using a DPV did three laps of the line to ensure the women did not break hands and that it was a continuous chain. The event, which was held to promote awareness on women in diving, also raised over $5,000 for the Breast Cancer Foundation in the Cayman Islands.
