Pioneer of the liveaboard industry in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea; built the 24-metre (79 ft) Coralita as a 12-person liveaboard in 1969; led multiple filming expeditions; Mullers Reef 21-173 was formally named after Wally Muller by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority on 1 November 2007.
