Marine archaeologist; author; researcher; Head of Research and Curator of Ordnance & Human Remains for the Mary Rose Trust; consultant; university lecturer; member of the Government Advisory Committee on Historic Wreck Sites; first volunteered as a diver on the Mary Rose wreck in Portsmouth in 1979.
