Competitive freediver married to Francisco ‘Pipin’ Ferreras; died in the Dominican Republic while attempting a No limits dive to 171 m (561 ft); inducted posthumously into the Women Divers Hall of Fame (2002); subject of Pipin Ferreras book - The Dive: A Story of Love and Obsession.
