Public speaker; educator; co-founder of the Women Divers Hall of Fame in 1999; author of Marine Conservation for the 21st Century; contributed to the NOAA Diving Manual; first Director of Environmental Programs and Projects for NAUI; founded NAUI’s International Underwater Foundation’s Environmental Horizons programme and Environmental Awareness Award in 1991; co-signed the first cooperative agreement between the NOAA National Marine Sanctuary Program and the sport diving community.
